# API changelog

What changed in the API. New fields and methods are added to `v1` without a version change.

## 18.10.2026 — fixes after review

- Posts of a channel deleted or unavailable in MAX are no longer returned (404) — as on the site; a repost source from such a channel comes without our number.
- A channel by @handle is the same one the site shows, even when old records share the handle.
- A broken cursor, edge dates (`9999-12-31`) and a reversed period in the post feed return 400 instead of 500 or an empty response.
- Addresses ending in `.json` and the `/v1/` root return 404; the `/v1/schema/` schema and OPTIONS requests cost no units.
- The “API.Max Profi” rate is 20 requests per second, as in the plan (the general 10 per second limit no longer cuts it).
- Webhooks: only the organization’s owner or an administrator can change them (`403 manager_required`); `test/` — once a minute, no retries; delivery retries stay within a day; a webhook disabled by staff is re-enabled by support (`409 conflict`); internationalized domain URLs.
- MCP: a channel by `@handle` in arguments is found; an invalid address value returns error `-32602`.

## 18.10.2026 — first v1 release

- Category and territory directories, the channel catalog with filters, a channel card by number or handle, finding a channel by link or MAX ID.
- Daily channel statistics and posts of public channels.
- `/v1/me/` — plan, limits and usage; the balance for the owner’s key.
- Plan limits: requests per period (30 days from payment) and per second, request packs.
- Webhooks about new posts (from the “API.Max Growth” plan) and the “read and write” key.
- An MCP server for AI assistants — `https://api.datool.ru/v1/mcp/`.
