# Post page

Every post of a public MAX channel has its own page on datool.ru: the text and attachments as in MAX, views and reactions, and next to them the channel card with its key numbers and indexes. The page is easy to share: the link opens without signing in and without the MAX app.

Where to find it: an address like `https://max.datool.ru/channels/<channel>/posts/<number>/`. Post pages are linked from the post date in the “All posts” feed on the [channel page](/en/channel/posts/), the “Most discussed posts” rows on [Today in MAX](/en/max/today/), the “Trending today” block on the home page and posts in the channel analytics tabs.

The breadcrumbs at the top read “Home / Channel catalog / channel title / Post <number>”. The page opens for a post of any age.

## The post (left)

![The post with numbered marks: date, attachments, text, views, reactions, buttons](https://media.datool.ru/docs/guide/en/max-post-body.webp)

1. **Date and time** of publication (Moscow time).
2. **Attachments** — photos and videos in a grid. Click a photo to open it large; click a video to start the player (the video is loaded from MAX when you click, so it may take a moment to start). If there are many attachments, the last tile shows “+N”: click it to see the rest. Images of old posts sometimes appear a few seconds after the page opens — while loading, the tile says “Loading image…”.
3. **Text** — as in MAX: with line breaks, emoji and working links. A post without text shows “Post without text”.
4. **Views** — how many times the post was viewed (eye icon).
5. **Reactions** — the total number of reactions (heart icon).
6. **Reactions by type** — how many of each emoji. Visible after signing in (free); without signing in they are blurred and a click leads to sign-in.
7. **“Copy link”** — copies the address of this page so you can send it to a colleague.
8. **“Open in MAX”** — opens this post in MAX itself.
9. **“Report an inaccuracy”** — a form to report a mistake: wrong numbers, the wrong channel, a problem with attachments.

What else a post can contain:

| Element | How it looks |
|---|---|
| Repost | a “Repost from “…”” line above the text — a link to the source channel |
| Ad | an “Ad post” label if the post has an ad mark |
| Poll or quiz | the question, answer options and “Total votes”; labels “anonymous”, “multiple answers”, “closed”. MAX shows results per option only to those who voted, so we may not have them |
| Location | a place on the map and an “Open on the map” link |
| Contact | a contact card — opens in MAX |
| Sticker | the sticker image captioned “Sticker” |
| Buttons | link buttons under the post, as in MAX |

We do not collect or show comments to posts.

## The channel card (right)

![The channel card on a post page for a visitor who is not signed in: indexes and some numbers are blurred](https://media.datool.ru/docs/guide/en/max-post-aside.webp)

- **Avatar, title and @handle** of the channel. Click to open the channel page. Next to the title are the labels: the blue badge (the owner [verified the channel](/en/max/verification/)) and the green A+ shield (the channel is registered with Roskomnadzor). Click a label to see a tooltip.
- **The channel description** in full, with working links.
- **Quality index** — a row with the number and a coloured scale (a score from 0 to 100). The “?” icon opens an explanation: which groups make up the score, the channel’s strengths and weaknesses, which channels it is compared with. See [Quality index](/en/metrics/quality-index/).
- **Citation index** — how often other MAX channels repost and mention the channel over 30 days, with its place among all channels and among similar ones. “?” opens an explanation. See [Citation index](/en/metrics/citation-index/).
- **All-time channel numbers**: “Subscribers” (with the gain over 30 days), “Posts”, “Views”, “Reactions”, “Mentions”, “Ads” (share of ad posts).
- **“Channel analytics →”** — all analytics tabs of the channel.

| What | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| The post, views, total reactions, subscribers and number of posts | everyone |
| Reactions by type, the channel’s views, reactions, mentions and ads | after signing in (free) |
| The quality index and citation index rows | after signing in (free) |

Without signing in, the closed parts are shown as a blurred example with an “Available after signing in” label — the numbers in it are not real. Click the label to sign in; afterwards you return to the same page.

## When the page does not open

- **Posts of private channels and group chats** are not shown on the showcase — such an address opens a “not found” page. The exception is a private channel verified by your organization.
- **The post was deleted in MAX** — we delete it from our database together with its attachments, and the page stops opening too.
- **A channel in the adult (18+) category** — first the “Enter your date of birth” window appears, see [Categories and regions](/en/max/categories/).
