# Blog

In the datool.ru blog we write about what is new in the service and publish company news, articles and event announcements. The blog is open to everyone, no sign-in is needed.

## Where to find it

- **[hi.datool.ru/blog/](https://hi.datool.ru/blog/)** — all posts together.
- The **“Blog”** item — in the showcase header menu (on the right, before “Knowledge base”) and in the footer, “About us” section.
- On the MAX showcase home page — the **“Blog”** block with four recent posts and tabs by section.

## Sections

Every post has one section, and every section has its own page that looks like the blog:

Above the feed the sections are shown as buttons: “All” and each section. The section label in a post row is also a link to its section.

## The feed

Posts go in rows, newest first: section, date, reading time, number of views, title, a two-line summary and the cover on the right. Below the feed there is **“Load more”** (adds the next 10 posts on the same page) and page numbers.

**A pinned post** comes first: each section has at most one pinned post, and the whole blog feed shows the pinned posts of all sections at the top. It is highlighted with a frame in the section color and a “Pinned” label with a pin.

## A post page

At the top — section, date, reading time and views, then the title, summary, cover and text. At the bottom — tags, the author and **“Share”** buttons: MAX (on a phone the system “Share” window opens, on a computer the link is copied), Telegram and VK. Below — **“Read also”**: four posts, those of the same section first.

The side column holds MAX channel search, a link to our MAX channel and **“Popular now”**: up to five posts read most over the last 7 days (the list is updated every 10 minutes).

!!! note "How views are counted"
    A view is every opening of a post page by a person, repeat visits included. Search robots and link-preview programs are not counted. The number in the feed is updated about once a minute.

## Search, tags and authors

- **Blog search** — the field in the side column or the [/blog/search/](https://hi.datool.ru/blog/search/) page. It searches titles, summaries, texts and tags; results can be narrowed by section. If nothing is found, the page offers to search the MAX channel catalog.
- **Tag** — click a tag under a post: all posts with it and similar tags open.
- **Author** — click the author's name: all their posts open, and the author card shows the position, a couple of lines about the author, the number of posts and their views. Posts without an author are signed “datool.ru editorial team”.

## Subscribe

- **Our MAX channel** — the “Subscribe to our MAX channel” link in the blog side column: short posts about new blog posts go there.
- **RSS** — a feed for readers: [hi.datool.ru/blog/rss/](https://hi.datool.ru/blog/rss/), the latest 50 posts.
- **Emails** — turn on “News and announcements” on the “Notifications” tab of the account area — [Notifications and the main bot](/en/cabinet/notifications/).

## English version

Posts are written in Russian. On the English version of the site they are shown in an automatic translation that the editors can correct by hand.
