Ratings and collections
Ratings show the largest, highest-quality and most cited MAX channels, and collections are ready-made channel lists by a feature that is not a category: government channels, channels with the A+ label, million-subscriber channels and others. All ratings and collections are open to everyone, without signing in.
Where to find it: the “Ratings” menu item — https://max.datool.ru/ratings/, the “Collections” item — https://max.datool.ru/collections/.
All ratings

At the top of every page in this section are tabs: “All ratings”, “Channels”, “Mentions”, “Collections”, “Today”, “Categories”. The open tab is underlined. The “All ratings” page has cards with a short description of each section and a link to it:
| Card | What is inside |
|---|---|
| Channels | the hundred largest MAX channels by audience or by quality index, with a category filter |
| Mentions | channels that other channels link to most often and most willingly — by citation index |
| Channel collections | government channels, channels with the A+ label, verified by owners, million-subscriber and new channels |
| Trending today | the highlights of the last 24 hours — the Today in MAX page |
| Categories | all channel topics — see Categories and regions |
At the bottom are links to the quality index and citation index methodologies.
How often they are updated
The order of places is recalculated once an hour, while subscribers, titles and avatars in the rows are always fresh. The time of the last calculation is written under the list (“Calculated …; recalculated hourly.”). If you see “The rating is being calculated in the background — refresh the page in a minute” instead of the list, the calculation is still running.
Channel rating
The address is max.datool.ru/ratings/channels/. By default it lists the hundred largest public MAX channels by number of subscribers.

Filters above the list:
- “Category” — “All categories” or one of the 66 topics. With a category selected, the rating shows the 50 largest channels of that category by subscribers (a channel counts in a category by both its main and additional topics).
- “Sort by” — “By audience” (more subscribers first) or “By quality index” (a higher channel score from 0 to 100 first). Sorting by quality index includes only channels whose index has already been calculated. When a category is selected, the order is always by audience and the field is disabled.
- “Show” applies the filters (the list also updates right after you pick a value), “Reset” returns the overall rating.
A rating row: place, avatar, channel title and @handle, “Subscribers”, “Quality index” (a dash means it has not been calculated yet) and “Category” — the channel’s main topic linking to its page. Click the title to open the channel page.

How to read the quality index
The quality index is made of five groups: audience, growth honesty, ad load, trust and calculation reliability. A channel with a big audience can rank below a small one when sorted by quality, for example if it has a lot of ads or sudden subscriber jumps. See Quality index.
Mentions rating
The address is max.datool.ru/ratings/mentions/. The hundred most influential MAX channels by citation index: other channels take their content most often — through reposts and links. Who cites also matters: a repost by a large channel weighs more than a link from a small one.

A row shows place, channel, “Citation index”, “Subscribers” and “Category”. The index has no upper limit: for the most cited channels it reaches hundreds. It is calculated once a day at night from mentions over the last 30 days; ad posts are not counted. If the index has never been calculated, the page says “The index has not been calculated yet”. How it works — see Citation index.
Example: a government agency channel with 100 thousand subscribers can rank above a news channel with a million if thousands of other channels repost its news.
Collections
The address is max.datool.ru/collections/. A collection is a ready-made list of channels by a feature: who runs the channel, which label it has, how large it is and how recently it appeared.

A collection card shows how many channels it has, its title, a description, avatars of several largest channels and a “View collection →” link.
| Collection | Which channels it includes |
|---|---|
| Government channels | official channels of authorities and public institutions in MAX: ministries, regions, municipalities, schools and hospitals (MAX gives them a special government address) |
| Channels with the A+ label | channels MAX marked with the A+ sign: they are in the Roskomnadzor register as personal pages with an audience of more than 10 thousand |
| Verified by owners | channels whose owners have verified their rights on datool.ru: the page shows a blue badge |
| Million-subscriber channels | channels with 1,000,000 subscribers or more |
| New channels | channels datool.ru found in the last 30 days — largest first |
Collection page

A collection page has the description, a line with the number of channels in the collection and channel cards (the same as in the catalog), largest first. Up to 100 channels are shown; if the collection is larger, the line adds that the 100 largest are shown. At the bottom, “Other collections” lets you jump to another list. Collections are recalculated once an hour.
