Today in MAX
“Today in MAX” sums up the last 24 hours across all public MAX channels: how many posts and views there were, at which hours channels posted most, which posts were read and discussed, which channels grew. The page is open to everyone, without signing in.
Where to find it: https://max.datool.ru/today/ — the “Today” menu item, the “Today” tab in “Ratings” and the “All … in 24 hours →” link in the “Trending today” block on the home page.

Where the numbers come from
- The window is the last 24 hours from the moment of calculation, not a calendar day.
- The calculation is updated once an hour. Its time is written at the bottom of the page (“Calculated …; recalculated hourly.”).
- Only public channels are counted. Private channels and group chats are not included.
- Channel titles, views and reactions in the lists are fresh — as of the moment you open the page.
If you see “The rating is being calculated in the background — refresh the page in a minute” instead of the totals, the calculation is not ready yet — open the page a little later.
Every block has an “i” icon: hover over it (tap it on a phone) to read how the number is calculated.
Last 24 hours
Six tiles in the top row.

| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Posts | how many posts were published in public channels in 24 hours |
| Channels posted | how many different channels published at least one post |
| Views | total views of the posts of these 24 hours at the moment of calculation |
| Reactions | total reactions (emoji) to these posts |
| New channels | how many channels datool.ru found for the first time in 24 hours |
| Ad share | what share of posts are ads (posts with an ad label) |
How to read the comparison. Under each number is an arrow compared to yesterday: the difference from the totals at the same time one day earlier. A green ▲ means more, a red ▼ means less, grey means no change. For the ad share the difference is in percentage points: “▼ 0.4 %” means the share fell, for example, from 6.2 % to 5.8 %. The line under the number shows the same time over the last 7 days, so you can see whether today is a normal day.
Why we compare with the same time yesterday rather than with the whole previous day: posts of small channels reach us with a delay, so the last hours are never fully counted. Yesterday’s calculation at the same hour lags in the same way, which makes the comparison fair.
Note
If the tile says “comparison in 24 hours”, there is no history of calculations yet (for example, after a site update) — the arrows and lines appear after a day.
Posts by hour

24 bars are the hours of the last 24 hours, Moscow time, from the earliest on the left to the current one. The height is the number of posts published in that hour. The tallest bar is highlighted and labelled with a number; the top right corner says when the peak was. The last, lighter bar is the current hour: it is still going, so it is always lower. Hover over a bar to see the hours and the number of posts.
Example: if the peak is at 9–10 a.m. and there are several times fewer posts at night, the morning is the most competitive time for readers’ attention.
Leaders of the day
Six awards for the last 24 hours. Each shows the winner in large type, with places two to five below as rows with bars: the bar length is the share of the winner’s result.

| Award | Who wins |
|---|---|
| Most viewed post | the post with the most views |
| Most reactions | the post with the most reactions |
| Fastest growing | the channel with the biggest subscriber gain in 24 hours |
| Highest engagement | the post with the highest share of reactions to views (reactions ÷ views), only among posts with 10,000 views or more |
| Posts the most | the channel with the most posts in 24 hours |
| Newcomer of the day | the largest channels by subscribers among those found in 24 hours |
In the post awards one channel can have no more than two posts. Click a title to open the post or channel page.
Most discussed posts
The ten best posts of the last 24 hours. The tabs at the top switch the order:
- “Views” — most views;
- “Reactions” — most reactions;
- “Engagement” — most reactions per view (only posts with 10,000 views or more: a post with 10 views and 5 reactions says nothing with its “50 %”).

A row shows place, channel, publication time, the beginning of the text and the number with a bar on the right. One channel can have no more than two posts. Click a row to open the post page.
Who grew
Channels with the biggest subscriber growth in 24 hours (up to 20 rows; the first 10 on a narrow screen). Tabs:
- “+ subscribers” — growth in subscribers;
- “+ %” — growth in percent, only for channels with at least 1,000 subscribers (otherwise almost empty channels would lead).

A row shows the channel, how many subscribers it has now and the growth. Growth is the difference between the latest known number of subscribers and the number one day earlier. The list includes channels whose subscriber count we know at both moments, so very small channels, which we check less often, usually do not appear. Subscriber losses are not shown in this block.
